Harry has played rugby from a young age, and tried out touch rugby socially a couple of years ago.
Early last year, Coach Mark Dodwell suggested that Harry try out for the Midlands U18’s and he later made the final squad to play in the Touch Nationals 2015 tournament, which they won.
Following this, Harry was put forward to the England U18 training squad and after travelling around the whole country for training sessions he made the final squad to plan in the men’s U18 which Harry describes as a “huge achievement”.
This week Harry is off to play in the Junior Touch Championships, held in Holland, against several other European countries and UK Flood Barriers is delighted to sponsor him to compete.
Harry does work experience in the UK Flood Barriers office during school holidays and hopes to attend a sports university after college.
We wish Harry & the team all the best for the tournament!
